Workridge text message alerts

Workridge is a work order system used by city Public Works departments. It sends text message alerts to city employees and city-issued work phones about urgent work, such as a water main break assigned to an on-call crew member, or an emergency with no crew on site yet.

Who receives texts

Only city Public Works staff whose employer has added their work or mobile number to Workridge, most often a city-issued work phone. Employees agree to work alerts when they provide the number, using the city's work alert acknowledgment form. Workridge does not text residents or the public.

How often

Message frequency varies with emergencies and on-call duty. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any Workridge text to stop receiving texts, or turn off text alerts in Workridge under Settings. Reply HELP for help. In-app alerts continue either way.

Privacy

Phone numbers are used only to send these work alerts. They are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Mobile opt-in information and consent are not shared with anyone. See the privacy notice.
